nfdump-sflow software package provides sflow collector daemon, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install nfdump-sflow
nfdump-sflow is installed in your system.
Make ensure the nfdump-sflow package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep nfdump-sflow *
You will get with nfdump-sflow package name, version, architecture and description in a table
